This term we will be investigating different parts of science and technology. This week we had a look at different substances and how they react when they are mixed together.

| Fizzing and foaming - when a chemical reaction takes place there can be a change in temperature, fizzing may take place and gas may be given off. |

| Swirling milk - surface tension in milk is lessened by adding detergent. |

| Amazing patterns - When coloured liquids are of nearly the same density they will not initially mix. |
 |
Mystery mix - when a chemical reaction takes place there can be a change in temperature, colour, heat, gas, and foam.
