Week 5/6

Gmail and google drive
This week in room 10 we have been given a gmail account hooked through Witherlea school. Available on gmail is google drive where Mr Robertson has set us two tasks. The first task was to write a list of why we thought Marlborough was a good region to live in and a great destination.
The next task was to watch a video promoting Queenstown, then we had to write down what makes a good advertisement video. This got us thinking about the advertisements we are going to do later in the term.

In  weeks 5 and 6, Room 10 have been working on watercolour art.  They have based it on the view of the Marlborough Sounds.  We had to start on the sky and worked our way down the page so we wouldn't smudge it.  Light colours first, mixing as we went.
NEXT:  we are going to add more shading using water-colour pencils, fine brushes and water.
